Obama’s aunt Zeituni Onyang

After President Obama’s illegal alien aunt defied deportation orders, one group has filed an arrest request with Immigration and Customs Enforcement and is publicly demanding that the president deport her.

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC, or ALIPAC, is urging Obama to honor his rhetoric about the rule of law by ousting Zeituni Onyango from the United States.

“President Obama has promised the American public that his administration will honor the principles of open government, the Constitution, and the Rule of Law,” ALIPAC President William Gheen said. “Obama must either deport his aunt or destroy his own credibility by showing her favoritism.”

Onyango has enlisted the help of an immigration lawyer to help her win asylum and stay in the U.S. after ignoring a court order that she leave the country or be deported

Margaret Wong and Associates is representing Zeituni Onyango, the 56-year-old Kenyan half-sister of Obama’s deceased father, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. Onyango and her lawyer are scheduled to attend an immigration hearing in Boston on April 1.

Onyango, revealed in November to be dwelling on Flaherty Way in a South Boston slum, has been living in the United States illegally, and refusing to leave the U.S. for her Kenyan homeland after a judge rejected her request for asylum in 2004.

“She is currently a fugitive from justice and is staying with friends in Cleveland vowing to fight against being deported now that her nephew is president,” ALIPAC contends.

The Bush administration issued a directive requiring high-level approval before agents could arrest fugitive immigrants on Oct. 31, the Associated Press reported. Immigration and Customs Enforcement documents reveal U.S. officials were concerned about implications of detaining Onyango in the days before the election.

ICE spokeswoman Kelly Nantel said the order was lifted by the end of November.

Onyango reportedly left her home in Boston public housing to escape media coverage in December. She traveled to Cleveland and hired Wong to assist her in her fight to remain in the U.S. while staying with relatives in an African immigrant community.

ALIPAC President William Gheen

On Dec. 17, an immigration judge stayed an order to deport Onyango.

The judge reopened her case for asylum on Dec. 30, a spokeswoman for the U.S. Executive Office of Immigration Review said.

Earlier this month, Onyango attended Obama’s swearing-in ceremony and an inaugural ball at Washington’s Renaissance Mayflower Hotel, a historic luxury hotel, the Associated Press reported. Rogers claims she never met with the president during inaugural festivities. She arrived with her immigration lawyer as her guest.

However, ALIPAC is asking the public to contact talk radio shows, the White House and Immigration and Customs Enforcement to demand that Onyango leave the United States or face deportation by month’s end.

In November 2008, Obama told Katie Couric, “If she is violating laws those laws have to be obeyed. We’re a nation of laws. Obviously that doesn’t lessen my concern for her, I haven’t been able to be in touch with her. But I’m a strong believer you have to obey the law.”

On Jan. 21, 2009, Obama said, “Let me say this as simply as I can. Transparency and the rule of law will be the touchstones of this presidency.”

“The ‘rule of law,’ in its most basic form, is the principle that no one is above the law,” an ALIPAC statement said. “The principle is intended to be a safeguard against arbitrary governance, whether by a totalitarian leader or by mob rule. Thus, the rule of law is hostile both to dictatorship and to anarchy.”

Gheen said Obama’s promise means nothing if he refuses to enforce the law and send his aunt home.

“Actions speak louder than words, Mr. President,” he said. “If you do not execute the deportation order for your aunt, then your lip service about the rule of law is no change from George Bush.”

Great Financial News for Arizona

Good News for Arizona

Every once in a while, not often we see some positive actions by the elected.  Arizona’s new governor armed with some fiscal conservatives have managed a budget that will reduce Arizona’s budget by 5%.  Additional cuts will follow and the estimates are that existing agencies will see their budgets cut by an additional 20%.  Result is that the welfare program otherwise called ” government employment”,  Is going to be cut back to reality.

Arizonans should salute , our newly elected Sen Sylvia Allen, Rep Konopnicki, Russel Pearce, John Kavanaugh , none of this would have been possible without our new Governor.  Thank you Gov Brewer for sticking around long enough to make it to the top state job.

For those of you in Az  LD5,,, pay attention,.. Your Rep Jack Brown dropped the ball on this one.  We should all , email,  bkonopnicki@azleg.gov   sallen@azleg.gov  , rpearce@azleg.gov, jkavanaugh@azleg.gov and our Gov  at   info@brewertransition.org   and give them a hats off. For a job well done.  They cant hear your brains rattle,, so send them a note.

Illegal Immigration

Now as I mentioned in earlier blogs , in the coming months the open borders advocates will be working on the next amnesty bill for the Congress and the Obama administration.  There will be a lot of double speak on this issue as the months and weeks go by.

I have placed on this site, the list of Congressmen and Senators and how they voted on the McCain Amnesty bill that we  shot down in the summer of 2007.  We will be leaving the list on the site , until we have put this issue to bed.   We are suggesting that you copy and past these names to your Works Wordprocessor ,  send them to everyone you know,.  and then draft letters using your own words to your elected in Congress , house and senate and tell them ,,, No Amnesty, period, seal the border, remove all illegal aliens from where ever.  Now  one issue that has already begun that process, is the economy.  However we  now know that there are over One million illegal alien gang members here in the country ,  they are not here for your health, so they need to be rounded up put on a old rusty tanker and give them enough fuel to reach some where in the middle of the atlantic ocean.  And send them on their way.

There will be house and senate member staffers , that over the next few months will be attempting to waste taxpayer dollars by drafting the next amnesty bill.  Careful thought will be input into that legislation to disguise amnesty, and efforts to keep the borders open.   All this is especially crutial now because of the condition of our countries economy.   We know that their are 40 million illegals that have entered this country since the Reagan Amnesty in 1986.  Those people need to leave, this country, if they want to return, there are temporary work permits to apply for if they have a sponsor. However, if we allow them back into the country , they should be tracked by ankle bracelets.  We must know where they are , what they are doing ,making sure that they are not involved with the drug trade or involved with terrorist activities,.. And that they will not be eligible for health care, maternaty or otherwise,… While they are here, Mexico will establish a fund to reimburse any medical facility for any expenses accrued.  Also a 15% tax should be assessed on any funds sent from this county back to mexico, by wire or money order.  Our economy should not the the engine of the mexican economy.

So lets get started , take the time , write the letters, send emails and lets kill amnesty before it becomes draft.

Go to the right side of this page look for the link that says “Votes of Members McCain Amnesty bill 2007″.

and dont for get ,  let me know what your doing, and if you have any questions I will try to help.  This will be a critical issue for our kids and grand kids.

Lets Reward poor performance

Filed under: My Posts — thearizonasentinel @ 12:56 am

The Arizona Sentinel

Jan 9th 2009

Today and yesterday, the house and senate in Washington had hearings discussing primarily two issues.

First , trying to convince the American people that bailouts of mismanaged Corporations should be bailed out. In other words like every other agency,or policy of the federal government.

Lets reward poor performance.

Second, drilling officers of the major banks as to why they are not loaning out more of the money they received from the 700 billion dollar bailout. Of which they have received 125 Billion. In the testimony it was brought to light that the bill that Bush signed last summer , had only produce 42 redrafted loans. However Wells Fargo , and Bank of America,” who by the way did not enter into the sub prime lending policy” . Pointed out that they had written billions of dollars of home loans over the past 12 month. And had done so without the aid of monopoly money from Bush,Paulson,Bernanke. Now you can decide for your self why any financial institution would be reluctant to use stolen taxpayer dollars for Corporate operations.

The current complaint by the committee was that they “banks were sitting on the money and not lending”.

Given my real estate background and the lending there of , here is my take on what the banks are doing.

To begin with lets look at the economic climate, behind us, where we are currently, and where we obviously are headed.

My view is that these bankers are using their heads, unlike Paulson, bush, bernanke,Barney,Dodd,Waters, you know the list.

They understand that any existing loan that is in jeapordy , whether it be a sub prime, no doc, stated, arm, if they rewrite that loan. In six months or more they will be looking at rewriting or forclosure of that loan again.

There are several reasons for this, setting aside the speculator borrower for a minute, the majority of the borrowers walked into their current loan with no personal investment, Added to that issue is the issue of future of employment opportunities. Millions of these loans were issued to borrowers of lower tier. Business and Corporations are shutting down. Closing plants, big box stores, construction and so on. Those business hire employees that for the most part have no formal training, lack any technical skills and in thousands of cases do not even posses minimal language skills. Therefore banks have no incentive to rewrite a loan today, then have to revisit that same loan sometime in the next 12-24 months and be faced with a foreclosure.

The dollars involved today regarding foreclosure are staggering. Some estimates are that just the legal fees alone can run in the neighborhood of $50,000.00 dollars per unit. Thats a problem that could easily be remedied but would take some leadership from Washington. So thats not likely.

The bottom line, is this. It is now estimated that there are 14 trillion dollars in mortgages that are at risk. The situation is simply overwhelming. Some suggestions are that the mortgage principal be reduce from current levels by 13 % and then rewrite the note. There are two problems with that ,. The investors whether they be foreign sovern funds or bank portfolios, or private investors who bought these bundled securities. There is no way to back those instruments up. No one knows where they are. Plus the losses would be staggering. And they are not primed to accept those losses. But they are coming.

So I can t end this with out suggesting a possible solution. A few days ago I submitted a program that essentially would bail out the American taxpayers. That plan,

attached , would remedy millions of dollars of mortgages. Provided that there was some oversight mandated. Im not one that favors bailouts,. However if the federal government is going to put funny money into the system , direct it directly to where the problem is. It would only help those taxpayers that over the years had paid taxes. Additionally the monies or refunds would go also to taxpayers that were debt free. That would spur spending and investments.

Giving money to the top of the spectrum will not solve the mortgage problem . Only by putting the money directly at the problem ,can it be fixed. There will still be millions of homes that will have to be foreclosed due to the flawed underwriting that funded those loans.

A simple analogy is this : If your toe is hurting you dont cut off your leg.

We Dodged a Bullet

Filed under: My Posts — thearizonasentinel @ 2:48 pm

The Arizona Sentinel

Well folks we dodged a bullet today,.  Hopefully it was because Obama gave him the boot. Tom Daschel is out and good riddance.   Hes gone and not likely to be back any time soon in the political arena. I for one was doing back flips when Thune took his senate seat away from him in 2004.  Daschel has never been on the right side of any issue,. his wife being a big time lobbyist in Washington, was major influence in his decisions.  Had he stayed in the Senate, he would have been another open borders Senator just like John McCain and the rest of them .  And summer of 07 fighting the McCain  amnesty bill would have been a even tougher fight.  Bottom line, just as we are all glad that bush is gone, we don’t need the likes of Daschel meddling in government.

So the question is Mr. President , whos doin the vetting?   Rohm Emanual,.. your chief of staff.  Who ever it is,  you need to get rid of them, because they are making you look like a fool.  And if your presidency is going to survive, well , we all know what happened the last time we elected a fool .

Economy:

Yesterday , the Dow hung around 7990.  Wall Street is beginning to realize that the recession is here.  The government is wanting banks to shell out more money,.. The question is to who.  The regulators are requiring the banks to keep more money in reserve. Loans are so cheap that if they do find a qualified buyer, he has no idea when the pink slip will be on his desk, or on his wiper blade.

Ive written  time after time, what they need to do , so wont bore anyone with that again . But one thing is for sure if the government gets involved they will screw it up.

Illegal Immigration.

Its time to start working on the members in the senate and the house regarding amnesty.  So Im going to figure out a way to add the names of the members that voted for and against the mccain kennedy, kyl, amnesty bill a year ago last summer so that you can lift it off of this page by copy and paste. Im still learning here,.   For all of you here in Arizona, we have got to get rid of mccain in 2010. And elect a strong border enforcement candidate for his senate seat,.  Regardless of what he says he will vote for amnesty, while yakking about securing the border first.  Just remember what he did recently on the TARP bailout for the Wall Street banks,. He knows where his bread is buttered,. And he’s served long enough now in the house and senate to get his life time retirement.  Lets send him to the farm.

Confidence

The Obama administration , knows that the confidence of Americans has been destroyed over the actions of the government, and financial institutions,”"Regulated by government”"”. Lota good that did.  I watched the Head of the SEC regulatory office testify the other day,.. What a joke.  This woman is in so far over her head, she couldnt make up answers fast enough.  So if anyone is counting on the government to fix these, Wall Street and  lending fraud issues, forget it.

If Obama wants to bring confidence back to the front of the room. He should start by restoring the confidence that we should all have in the Department of Justice.  That would be a great start.  The he should begin by removing all troops from all 156 countries around the world,.. He should publically tear up the Nafta and Cafta Treaty,.. He should instantly put a 15-25% tarriff on all imports,. He should close our borders, with the National Guard. He should end the trade and travel restrictions with Cuba,.. He should open all CRP land to grass production for bio fuels.  He should close the border to the mexican trucks,.  He should release Ramos and Copean and Hernandez. He should require ankle bracelets on all middle eastern arrivals at International Air and Sea ports.  He should step up and be President,.  Just for starters.

Im gonna use an old pilots analygy.  When you have a problem with the aircraft in the air.  FLY THE DAMN AIRPLANE.  Then worry about the problem.  He should do the same thing with the country.  Govern the Country first , then worry about the problem.  In my view,  the American economy is some what like the condition U.S. Airways 1549 was in last week,.. the engines  (economy) were shut down due to the bird strikes( government action, greedy banks, mortgage fraud). So the only thing left to do is to ditch the airplane, (economy) and go from there.  He could learn from 1549.  that airplane will never fly again,  the old economy  will never resurface as we new it.  So let it recover on its own.  We  have long way to go. And a long time to get there,. Trying to speed up the process by giving money to the people that got us in this fix in the first place will only prolong the problem.

Use US Airways 1549 as an example,.  He flew the damn airplane.  There was nothing he could do about the problem.   Pardon me its the former instructor in me.

Coming Plans for Americans

Filed under: My Posts — thearizonasentinel @ 1:40 am

The Arizona Sentinel

Tax time is coming and Im wondering if there is some way , I could avoid my tax bill this year.  Then it dawned on me,.  Move to the Beltway or work for the federal government somewhere.  It seems to have worked for Geitner, Daschel, and our budget overseer Mr Charlie Rangle.  Today there were five Democrats step up to the mic and give Daschel a thumbs up , Im guessing for his attempt to avoid taxes.,, He obviously has taken acting classes , because when he finally made his way to the mic, his apology was so sincere, I had to run and get a hanky.

Watching these politicians run around talking whether its in the well of the house or Senate reminds me of a bunch of turkeys running around in the pen, making a lot of noise.  Not much else happens. And when it does its normally not good.  Every thanksgiving thousands of them lose their head.  Wouldn’t it be great if once a year we chopped off the heads of a couple of these idiots in the beltway.

The Senior Senator Grassley has been criticized lately for picking up the “Buy American” mantel. Remember when Sam had that motto on the products in his store,” Made in America” .  Well Ive been hollering about this for over year.  Ya wanta have some fun ,. go to Wally world ,K mart or Sears,.. Walk around pick up products, look at the bottom ,  if its made in China , hold it up to the security cameras and then put it back.

For the past 6-8 years , I have been bad mouthing the U.S.Chamber of Commerce,. Well today they stepped up and bad mouthed the Buy American policy.  The thirty years I was a independent businessman I never joined or contributed money to any Chamber of Commerce, be in U.S.  State or City . They are absolutely anti American business.  And anybody that thinks that these Chambers represent small business is smoking wacky weed.

The Republicans throw out a bone today.  They want to give a $15,000.00 tax credit to anyone that buys a home.  Nice try but its almost laughable.  Business’s are winding down. Unemployment is at 7.2% the highest its been in 16 years.  But here is a prediction,. Some mortgage company will come up with a scheme, to offer loans to buyers with no up front costs if they will split the tax credit with the mortgage company. Or something to that affect.  What is it about the housing market that baffles the beltway? Thousands of the ALT A or ” liars loan” have already been foreclosed on and thousands more are due to reset. Once those reset the payment will go up roughly $1000.00 one thousand dollars per month on average. So over the next twelve months added downward pressure will continue to drive housing prices lower.  So the Republicans giving lip service to a tax credit is a waste of hot air.  Eventually one of three things is going to happen.  First and best would be for the Beltway to stay out of it, and tell the banks that made these loans, you made this bed , you sleep in it,..  Or they will put the nation further in debt and go the good bank bad bank route and buy up all those bad loans , or toxic assets as they like to describe them,.. When will they learn to call it like it is.  Or the finally thing to happen will be , that the homes deteriorate, become the property of the county ,due to  arrears in property taxes, and be sold off at sheriffs sale to the highest bidder,.  That is when we will find the value of these properties. The good effect of this is we will finally see property taxes forced down.  Not before.

The housing market is flooded with people in every sector of that economy. And now they are all for that one buyer that might be out there.  Here is an example , in the small community (3,to 3500)that I live in.  Six months ago there were 55-60 real estate agents.  Bottom line, the phony economy developed a surplus all the way around.

As Ive mentioned before the commercial property economy is beginning to fail now. And over the next 12 -18 months will continue to decline,. Not just here but around the world,. Again, there is a surplus of commercial properties, and people working in those areas.  That’s gonna change.  In the early eighties we went thru this, that was when I got into commercial property, and still am. However, the key I learned in the eighties. Was this, those that failed, then and those that are going to fail now, did not and do not understand the fundamentals of buying commercial property.  I will not give up my secrets but I will share one element that can never be overlooked.  If EGO or STATUS enters into the buying decision, it will fail.

And finally, does anybody remember when Cheney shot his buddy in the face.  Well apparently the Obama administration and his democratic puppets are wanting to shoot the American Worker in the face. They are making moves to slow down or stop the Employer E-Verify system.  You watch they will use that as a stick , when offering bailout money to the states. In other words if you want taxpayer money to fund your stupid programs, we are going to force you to drop your E-Verify programs. And in so doing we will complicate your states economy even more. For some reason I feel like Im being shot in the face.

E-Verify can not be in place if Obama and McCain are going to be able to give 20 million or more illegal aliens amnesty.  So if we are ever going to stop the evasion of our country get ready for a fight.

Thanks for listening , you can give the world your opinion below.

Washington this past week

Filed under: My Posts — thearizonasentinel @ 6:41 pm

The Arizona Sentinel

Welcome to the first issue of the Arizona Sentinel on a blog site. A little about this past weeks events . First I want to congratulate the RNC for their choice to run the party. Micheal Steele was a excellent choice. A Republican Conservative ,well grounded and a man that I don’t believe will be swayed by the socialist members of the Republican Party,.. Micheal Steele has been steadfast in his opinion that regarding immigration , the border must be sealed first,. That until we solve that part of the issue , nothing else matters. The other noticeable item of yesterdays RNC pick was the rebuttal of bush’s choice for the leader of the party , that being Mike Duncan, who would of been just more of the misguided directions like those of McCain regarding national security , ie border and port security,. Like McCain who came to the party late, Duncan would have cost Republicans more defeats, because of his bush ,mccain like thinking. So Kuddos to the RNC. There is now a bright light at the end of a very dark tunnel in Mike Steele. Mike said it best on Cris Wallace show this morning ,. Border security first!!!!!

Now we need to get Mike to lobby the Republicans in the House and Senate, to pressure President Obama to grant full pardons to Ramos, Copean, and Gilbert Hernandez.

Over the next two years we are going to spend a good deal of time, reminding Arizona and the country as to why we can not afford another six years of McCain. This past week there was a hearing in the Senate Armed Services Committee,. John McCain was questioning Obama’s Sec of Defense Robert Gates . When John McCain had his turn, much of his questioning amounted to Iraq, Pakistan and Afghanistan,. The interesting segment of his questioning , amounted to questions related to the borders of Iran and Iraq, and Pakistan and Afghanistan. Pointing out that the issue of their porous borders were a serious problem for the success of our efforts in Iraq , Afghanistan and Pakistan. We now have serious problems here in the United States, terrorist cells are and have been being developed for years, we have gangs , disease, chemical warfare, pieces and parts of weapons of mass destruction coming across our northern and southern border,. So why in his questioning did John McCain never mention our southern border,. That is simple, he has been bought off by contributions from the Mexican Lobby groups that want no borders between Mexico and The United States.

Over the next two years Americans and specifically Arizonians need to communicate to the new Chairman of the RNC to find a Senate candidate for Arizona that will seal the border, Pardon Ramos and Copean. And not support Amnesty in any way shape or form.

We have millions of Americans who are loosing their jobs. Jobs that Americans could be moving into are jobs that are being taken up by illegals. The majority of jobs that are being lost , were jobs that were developed from a phony , false economy. A reality check is in order,. Not every American should expect to be living in a $400.000 .00 home, Not every American should expect to be driving a Hummer. Our last 8 years have been a lie, from top to bottom.

As for the stimulus package. First Republicans out side of the Belt way need to remember one thing. This package was drafted by Nancy Pelosi and Harry Ried and socialist , democrats. Not by President Obama. We need to hold out hope that at the end of the day , this Christmas tree that the Democrat House has put forward will be scrubbed in the Senate, and Obama will review it carefully before he signs any bill. Remember this , this President knows that he can not fail. He is no longer one of One Hundred,. He is now the ONE.

As for Presidents appointment of Tom Daschel to Dept of Health and Human Service,. Remember this , Tom Daschel is a open borders advocate. Tom Daschel is a tax dodger just as is Tim Geitner another Obama appointment. My guess is these appointments really came from Rohm Emanuel. Still Obama is the final decider in these issues. That issue may be useful , may be usefull when it comes time to rid ourselves of the IRS. Under the current tax system, Obama can immediately stimulate the economy just thru tax policy itself. Without the borrowing of 1.3 trillion dollars,. $850 Plus interest.

Or he could immediatley announce that we were going to a fair tax, or the consumption tax and watch the economy explode.

This next week is going to be one to remember,. Wall Street will be furious with what the future holds for them ,. First, the Democrats have come with a buy American policy. Second the President thru Executive Orders and I suspect more are coming , has told Wall Street and the House and Senate, that change is on its way. In the first case, Wall Streets paying bonus’es with taxpayer dollars will not fly. And in the second case, if the House and Senate are unable to work to gether, Obama will exercise his authority thru Executive order.

Now , we must as citizens keep him in check ,. For example HR, short title, Blair Holt ” Licensing and Record Act of 2009″. Is a serious threat to the Constitutional Freedoms of Americans, . Not to mention their ability to protect their property, and families. Everyone needs to get involved , send a email to everyone in the House and Senate, and President Obama, tell them to vote no on HR 45 the Blair Holt, Rohm Emanual, Eric Holder anti American Bill.
