SOTUS We have big problems

Filed under: My Posts — thearizonasentinel @ 3:19 am

Ezekiel Chapter 33

Well folks , I’ve listened to the SOTUS twice now.  And here is what I’ve learned.

Well that didn’t take long. But here are some observations,. First to hell with capitalism, who needs capitalism when your government can print money, give it to start ups to produce solar panels and wind mills. If  you want to start a business today, no need to go down to the bank and get a loan, just call the White House, they’ve got lots of money, of course it belongs to your grand kids, but hey, we’ll all be gone by then.  Remember the bit about offshore drilling,  that must have put a crease in his shorts, I ‘ll bet the speech writer that put that in there is looking for a job today.  Just how many of these CEO’s will eventually will decide, whoa! I can bail on this free money, take my product to China and save 90% of my production cost.  But hey thanks obama, your great.

That’s exactly what we have going on right now here in Arizona . Our Governor and a bunch of brain dead Republicans and Democrats are all ga ga over a couple of  start up companies that are coming in to the state to build these fantastic, solar panels. Accepting money with no risk involved to the user is simply dumb policy.  If my numbers are correct they are going to get tax breaks and  millions dollars of some ones money, yours or mine, federal stimulus dollars borrowed from that’s right China.  To crank up these two Green jobs companies. But watch for this down the road, say a year or two.  The EPA, OSHA, DHS, labor unions, health care mandates, workers comp, yada yada, and the list is just getting started, will move in and these two company CEO’s will ultimately say,. Whoa, this is not what we asked for . We are spending all these dollars just to satisfy, a bunch of agencies, that do nothing to help us create a product. They are costing us time , money, forcing us to hire a bunch of folks just to handle the paperwork to satisfy all these agencies. I know, lets shut this sucker down and move our production to China. Or lets sell our patents to a different corporation, file bankruptcy, move our patents and designs to yep you guessed it China.  But here’s another probability. China is already manufacturing solar panels.  So these two start ups are already behind the power curve before they produce their first panel. And if either one of these two solar panel start ups create a better widget. One of the 300 Chinese owned corporate spy companies here in the U.S. will go buy one of those super widget panels, overnight it to China and by the weeks end your design, your patent, is on the world market. It is being under priced, produced faster, and your product is suddenly not competitive even here in the U. S.

Is there a solution to this, yes but this federal government will not go near it.

The result, 10 million dollars of borrowed dollars from china, wound up rewarding China by your efforts here and you still owe the money.

Is there a solution to this , yes , but this administration has no clue.

Another  problem is our federal government is killing capitalism with bribes.  This administration wants to be the engine of production.  This administration wants every worker in America to be on the government payroll in one fashion or another.  Since everyone is working for the government,(does the Soviet Union ring any bells)?

So now you can send your kid to college, and he or she will have a guaranteed job working for a  government agency or to use the POTUS words “public service“. Why invent, why work out in the garage on an idea. Have you ever thought about what a government farm would look like ? It wont be long folks.  At the end of the day who is going to pay off these education debts. You, me?  Some body has to be producing something that sells for a profit or there is no tax revenue,.

The Republicans and Democrats just voted today for 4 more years of cheap money. You know those worthless green things you used to carry around in your purse or billfold.  I don’t know about you but all I have now is CHANGE.  I mean they must be worthless because the Fed/Bernanke is going to keep the interest rates at 0.5% . I don’t know why they don’t just do what they did in Japan in the 90’s and pay you to borrow money.  Not to worry that will be here in obama’s second term.
The question is why are they keeping the cost of money at zero.  There are many nefarious reasons . But the most obvious to me  is this. There is no incentive to save money at your local community bank,. So your going to send your dollars to IRA’s, and 401K, or some broker with deal you just cant refuse. Just like you did over the last decade. And those dollars will wind up on Wall Street. Then they wind up bouncing around different brokers, pulling out their commissions, investing in guess what, synthetic financial instruments, that are  tied to Mortgage backed securities then end up bundled into these credit default swaps or Junk Bonds.  These investment dollars of yours once  again are the dollars that the big banks are now using to pay these enormous bonuses that are being paid out right now on Wall Street.  We are doing the same thing all over again, and its due in large part to the Feds, insistence on keeping interest rates at zero.  Booms and Busts.  And who gets hurt, the middle class. Will someone tell me the difference between what Wall Street Banks are doing and what Bernie was doing. Bernie goes to jail, and Paulson buys a hockey team.  Hellava deal.

Last nights SOTUS was mostly about more government, more spending, more bribes, and more borrowed money from China.  We all know that. Another interesting observation was this.  The Republicans and the Democrats spent most of the speech standing up clapping at the at the same time. So what does that tell this current candidate for Governor here in Arizona. Constitutional Conservative Third Party Candidates must step up. ” The issue with obama is he has no problem giving away  what is not his to give, the trick is for Americans to refuse to accept it”.

Obama ,must be reading my blog. His Response “The Council of Governors”

Filed under: My Posts — thearizonasentinel @ 6:11 pm

Thats right, Obama has been reading my blog,he understands the substance and has been working to undermine my plan. How do I know this, well , in September of 2009 I put the basic plan , that is below in bold, out to the country. And I can tell you that I received a flood of emails in support and infact similar plans that others had been thinking about as well.  So what has Soetoro aka obama come up with?  His plan to create this ” The Council of Governors” .  The Council of Governors “10″ will be hand picked by obama. You can even visulize who those Governors will be, Arney will be at the to top of the list. How do we know that, well Arney has been bought with 20 billion plus in taxpayer funded bailout.   Why? To try to undermine, my plan, to make certain that states remain under the thumb of the Federal Government. To take what ever State Sovereignty that remains within the states and subvert it to the Federal Government ,. He and his clones are scared to death that States will step up and tell the federal goverment to take a hike,.  Well mr. soetoro you had better expand your vision to all 50 states, (and good luck with that).  By the time November comes around your ” Council of Governors will be identified as either , social liberal marxists, or RINO’s.  By the time November comes around we will have identified 30-35 new governors that will be commited Constitutional Conservatives, Independents, Libertarians and yes even some Republicans.  It will be up to them to step up and tell the beltway what Im suggesting below in bold , in some form or fashion.

Bottom line mr. Soetoro , its gonna take more than 10 governors to remove our guard troops from state Governors control.  Those of us that get elected will remove your ability to send our guard troops to foreign shores with out our Governors approval.  You may be Commander and Chief of the Army,Navy,Air Force, and Coast Guard,. But you have no business deploying our state guard troops to foreign shores with out a declaration of war by Congress,. And since they, the congress, have bowed to your unConstitutional powers,. The states will stand up and put an end to it.

The following suggested plan for States going forward was put out there in Sept of last years.  My view is that he sees something along these lines coming down the pike.   You decide and then watch what comes out of the beltway over the coming months.

Required Action by the States to save America. Time is not on our side !! Well folks , it is happening, exactly as the founders feared would happen over 200 years ago. Americans have elected a majority of public officials, that have as their agenda. The destruction of the United States of America. We have elected Presidents, that have been nothing more than puppets for groups hell bent on unwinding 200 plus years of the greatest country on the planet. We all know the problems. Washington DC and indeed many state Governments starting at the Top Job on down . Have worked their way into the political power structures. They have created systems, laws, bureaucracies, agencies, and regulations, at the county, state and federal level, that fly in the face of a Republic. They have created this trillions of dollars of debt, let them pay it off, tell China to call bush, carter, clinton, bush, paulson, geitner, and bernanke. Because we have had enough. We all know that the Constitution is being unraveled everyday, by this administration. And let us not forget the position the bush administration held towards the Constitution. We all know that the Radicals have taken over. They are creating and producing radical policies and agendas that are destroying America. So what is the solution? In my mind short of going to war. We have but one alternative. And that is this. We create four to five groups of states. See the map below. Each of those Regional Groups will have a quizi government body. The Governors of those states will elect a Chairman to head the Region of States each year. Now before I go any further. I know there will be folks on both sides of the aisle, and down the middle that will buck up against this. Both in and out of politics. Here is what I say to you: You have had your shot and you either screwed it up , or sat back and did nothing. To put it bluntly: Either lead, follow, or get out of the way. The idea is to have legislation drafted , and introduced into each states legislature, on the same day, with the same title, and the same language that says in a nut shell the following. ” We the Sovereign States of Arizona, Nevada, Idaho, Utah, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, effective January 1, 2012. Do hereby divest our lands, our citizens, our treasure of any relationship with any agency, department, political leader, legal or illegally elected , or with any body of previously recognized government such as would be located inside the District of Columbia.” We the afore mentioned Sovereign States effective Jan 1 2012 , do hereby exercise our 10th Amendment to the United States Constitution. Or short of that, either in or out of the realm of the Constitution. Whereby we sever all , political, and civil ties with what was previously referred to as the Federal Government of the United States of America. If the federal government can function outside of the Constitution,. So can the States. Until the deed is finished. ( The lawyers can work out the proper language) Each state will bring to the table their respective Constitution, which the will be required to retake their oath of office. The Constitution of the United States will be placed on top of the State Constitutions . And each Governor of the member states will be required to take the following oath of office with their right hand on the Judeo Christian Bible. ” I solemnly swear that I will serve and defend the Constitution of the United States, Against all enemies foreign and domestic, so help me God” The founders of this great Christian nation knew that at some point in time in the future. That it would be necessary to bring to an end the political power structure otherwise known as the Federal Government of the United States. It has failed in every imaginable way. And they are working everyday to destroy the dollar. Will we need a new currency, probably. But when we design it , you will not be able to fold it in such a way as to see two towers burning. Or other nefarious symbols. Each state could create its own Fort Knox, hold gold and silver and back a new U.S. Currency or maybe a Currency defined by the individual Zone, but is tender across regional states line. We shall have “In God We Trust” on all currency, if the muslims and the athiest dont like it they can go back to where ever they came from. Note: We have developed this plan to bring the power back to the States and to the people. , ” Mountain States of the West” Otherwise known as Arizona, Nevada, Idaho, Utah, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico,Alaska. It is time for strong , deliberate action,. We can no longer sit back and allow corrupt politicians, the Trilateral Commission, the Bilderbergers, the Federal Reserve, to manipulate and destroy our country. Bush and Obama have created this 20 trillion dollars of debt,. Tell the Chinese to get it from them. it’s a new day, and a new deal. B\O Bush\Obama Like Tom Tancredo said: “This is our culture, we need fight for it. This is our flag , we need to pick it up. This is your country , we need to take it back.” Will it be a lot of work, Like Sarah says, “You Betcha” See Map Below,… Zone One Pacific West States Zone Two, Mountain West States Zone Three Midwest Plains States Zone Four Mideast States Zone Five Atlantic Eastern States.

Tomorrow night Soetoro will give his state of the Union speech.  Watch him move to the right.  2010 is coming folks , will you buy into the BS.

AZ Republicans voice disdain for McCain at state GOP meeting The annual gathering of the Arizona Republican Party Statutory Meeting received a rare visit today. In fact, the arrival of Arizona’s senior senator was so uncharacteristic, many long time state committeemen said they were unable to recall ever seeing him in attendance. Although the McCain sighting was an unusual and aberrant move for him, it is not one he will soon forget. Throughout his speech, chants of “J.D.! J.D.!” referencing his nemesis and unannounced phantom challenger, could be clearly heard among catcalls and hisses aimed at McCain. The popular former Congressman J.D. Hayworth, who enjoys a broad base of support, is being urged to enter the senate race to mount a Daschle-like challenge to McCain. Arizona’s grassroots Republicans are weary of the aisle-crossing “Maverick” and desire actual representation. In fact, a Rasmussen survey of Arizona Republicans reported a towering 61% indicated McCain was “out of touch with the party base.” Several people in the crowd disapprovingly called out “What about amnesty?” during McCain’s speech and other committeemen held up signs that read “Boo” indicating their scorn. The aging senator has had a disconnect with his own party base for so long that he didn’t even bother to attend the state presidential preference primary when his name was placed in nomination for the 2008 election, an overt display of scorn for the very people who brought him to that dance. A year-end Rasmussen Reports poll showed the old, long-time senator in a dead heat with Hayworth, causing the fearful McCain to purchase provocative and negative ads during Hayworth’s drive time radio call-in show on KFYI radio. The tension reached a fever-pitch yesterday, when Hayworth signed off with his final program. The most recent polling after the loathsome and blistering attacks from McCain indicated a downturn in support for Hayworth. That won’t last. McCain, who is adept at sticking his finger in the eye of his fellow Arizona Republicans, is showing fear, causing him to recruit newly elected Massachusetts Sen. Scott Brown to make robo calls on his behalf and bringing in Sarah Palin to stump for him. The stench of McFear is palpable. Progressive Blather after one year, what has it done for you?

Filed under: My Posts — thearizonasentinel @ 6:46 pm

Its been 12 months of Soetoro, Axelrod, Imanuel, Jarrett, Gibbs, Jones, Dunn, Geitner, and all the rest of the club of Marxist. Now the question. Where are we? Well lets look at their accomplishments,. What they really boil down to is debt. Trillions of dollars of Debt. Overall 17% unemployment, and some estimates are that in many states, the unemployment is as high as 23%. Due to the millions of Americans that are no longer looking for work, have given up or, in many cases the jobs that they should be doing are being taken by illegal aliens. And who is to blame for that? Simple , state and federal government policies, regulation, and so on.

One thing stands out above all else. We have elected leaders that have no idea of how to create jobs, nor do they recognize what is killing jobs or driving them out of our country.  Did all of this start under Soetoro, no, it goes back decades. Is Soetoro a Marxist, certainly. Does he believe that Government is the answer, certainly, but so did Carter, Clinton, Bush, and now obama , or what ever his name is.

This morning on Meet the Press, David Gregory had Valerie Jarrett on his show, (boy do I miss Russ).Robert Gibbs was on Cris Wallace.  Both were trying to make excuses for Soetoro’s socialist , heavy handed , backroom deals.  Several weeks ago I wrote that Soetoro was like a Slinky, and that every day , he was falling like rings of steel to the next step downward. On Wednesday he will read another smooth talking, moderate yada yada yada with no substance. He will tell his Marxist friends what they want to hear, while tickling the moderate liberal. He is  hoping they wont abandon him 2010.  The truth is Americans have caught on to this fella, they know he is a fraud.

At the end of the year , all we have is this fella in the White House , who has no credibility with leaders around the world . They all see what we see, an empty suit that can read.  We’ve wasted billions of dollars on so called stimulus that created or saved government jobs,. That at the end of the day, do nothing that creates anything that can be sold for a profit,. The legacy costs of this White House are out of this world in costs.  He has flown hundreds of hours all over the world, strutting around like a rooster in a hen house. Pretending to be someone that he is not,.. He is no leader, he is a puppet to the Progressives, to ACORN and SEIU that put him in office. And now even they are turning on him because he has failed as a politician to shove the progressive agenda down America’s throats.

The question is will he turn right? You would think he would,. But what happens if he does? He has already lost the support of all those Americans that bought into his pre-election blather. Bob Dole told me one time that Americans have short memories. Well I think Americans are paying attention. I think Soetoro has jarred their memories. I don’t believe that it matters a hill of beans which direction Soetoro goes,. We are on to him. Don’t be too surprised if Soros takes a walk,. Look at the billions of dollars George Soros has invested in Soetoro,. Air America , is shutting down. why , no one was listening. The blather that Rachel Maddow,Bill Press, and this so called comedian Al Franken was spewing sent advertisers scrambling for the back doors. Hoping no one would notice that they were ever there.

Over the next six months , I believe Americans should get off the dime and force Congress to act on the legitimacy of this fella in the White House.  There are 11 congressmen in the House that are demanding to see the paperwork. If I were a Democrat in the House or Senate, I would be out in front of the White House everyday, demanding authenticity in the White House. The Republicans should be holding hearings, regardless of Reid or Pelosi,. Eventually the truth will surface,. If  Americans that are elected to serve and protect the Constitution of this country do not act,. Governments from around the world will completely lose, what ever credibility America ever had.

Bottom line , we need to get rid of all these politicians and elect former business men, people that created jobs, people that created widgets, products that were thought of , developed and sold for a profit.  Hiring lawyers, and CPAs in fancy suits, people with name recognition, because of politics, or what ever, will never turn this country around. We need a citizenry run government.

Look at this fella Ben Bernanke,.. An academic,. no business experience, part of the problem even before he became Fed Chairman. Tied to Timothy Geitner at the hip. Will he get another term. I think it is 50/50.  Would I vote for him , absolutely not. He and Allen Greenspan have destroyed the financial system as it is in rural America.  Cheap money, has proven to be negative on our economy.  Who should be the next Fed Chairman,.. My choice is Georgia Senator Jim Bunning.

http://bunning.senate.gov/public/

U.S. Senate Banking Committee members Jim Bunning, Jim DeMint, and David Vitter issued the following statement on the delay in the United States Senate on the confirmation of Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke to a second term. Despite having well over a month to comply with a request by the Senate Banking Committee, the Federal Reserve is still producing the requested documents, which are not being made public or available to Senators outside the Senate Banking Committee. Furthermore, on Tuesday, Chairman Bernanke invited the General Accounting Office (GAO) to review information and interview Federal Reserve staff. However, that process will take weeks or months to complete before information is available to all Members of Congress and the public.

My prediction over the next year is that Barry Soetoro will continue to lose support.  He will spend more time on foreign policy and less time on domestic policy. Until he provides the country with proof of Citizenship millions of Americans will deny him as their president.

The State of the Union will be Wednesday night. Will anyone be listening?

If we as Americans want change, change that will reduce the size and spending nonsense at the state and federal levels,. We must create competition in the two party system.  Voting for the lesser of two evils is nonsense.  Brown says he is a Independent, then why didn’t run as an Independent?  There is no question we will change the demographics in Washington and across the county in 2010.  But we will only continue to get more of the same, unless we elect Conservative Third party Candidates.

Clean Elections Gone in Arizona, Freedom of Speech Rules the Day!!

Filed under: My Posts — thearizonasentinel @ 3:21 pm

Goldwater Institute News Release January 20, 2010 Phoenix—

Today U.S. District Court Judge Roslyn Silver ruled in favor of the Goldwater Institute and permanently struck down the matching funds provision of the Clean Elections law. Judge Silver gave the state five days to appeal the decision and seek further relief in the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals before the judgment becomes enforceable. In the 23 page decision, Judge Silver ruled, “The Act, in its current form, is not supported by a compelling interest, is not narrowly tailored, and is not the least restrictive alternative. The Act is unconstitutional under the First Amendment.” “We hope the State will not appeal the injunction,” said Goldwater Institute attorney Nick Dranias. “All along, the State has said the candidates need certainty, and they do. The system is unconstitutional and it’s time for the state to protect free speech and follow the law.” The Goldwater Institute filed suit against Clean Elections in August 2008, arguing the matching funds provision violates the free speech rights of traditionally funded candidates by causing their campaign contributions and expenditures to trigger government subsidies to opposing publicly-funded candidates. Read more about this and other Goldwater lawsuits to protect individual rights and keep government within its constitutional limits at www.goldwaterinstitute.org/litigation. The Goldwater Institute is an independent government watchdog that develops innovative, principled solutions to issues facing the states and enforces constitutionally limited government through litigation. The Institute’s work is made possible by the generosity of its supporters.

As a Conservative Libertarian Candidate for Governor of Arizona , I definitely support Judge Silvers decision.

For any and all conservative candidates running for office in 2010,. We have an invite for you. We want to be able to identify committed Conservatives, regardless of party. So go to the site below, when it opens run your mouse over the Tea Party Candidate Button. Re the qualifier and respond as directed,. We will then …send you the hyperlink for you to place the button on your site where ever you choose. The Tea Party Brand, is going to be the tool that we Legal Americans will be using to generate momentum going forward. This is free, there are no strings, other than you must be a committed Constitutional Conservative,. If we discover that you are a RINO,Liberal,Socialist,Marxist,Communist, we will remove the hyperlink from your site,. It is especially important that we identify Conservative Governors running in 2010. Because it is our hope to schedule a Conservative Candidate for Governors Conference in May or June,. By then we will know who they are. It has been suggested that we hold this conference in Dallas, for obvious reasons,. They may be a independant nation by then. We are planning on developing four fifteen minute youtube videos to be linked up to every Conservative, web site, and media outlet, hopefully Glenn, Sean, and Rush will put a link on there sites as well . We have a lot of work to do between now and the election. There are 36 states that will change Governors this next round . 36 of them must be committed fiscal, constitutional, conservative men or women. States will be the salvation of America. Obama, the senate and the house have given us the reasons, and motivations to take back America. If you know of any committed Conservatives, that are or considering stepping up,. Send them this note. Lets show obama,Imanuel, and Axelrod what Community Organizing really looks like. Happy New Year ya’ll.

Recently at public events, my opponent in this Governors race here in Az.  Has been trying to defend his position on using taxpayers money to fund or in my opinion buy an election.  Lets just look at some facts, and you decide.

Using Taxpayer money to support any politician makes no sense.  The Clean elections proponents argue that this money does not come from the general revenues. Does it matter where the money comes from? Does it matter to the poor fella footing the bill, better yet does he have any say as to which candidate his money goes to,.  Sort of like ” the union card check ” situation .  And it is a tax no matter where it comes from .  The simplistic “sin” tax argument treats us like we are juvies too young to figure out this political scheme.  ($700,000.00) for the Primary and $1Million plus for the general.

Where does the Arizona Clean Elections Commission get their funding? “Remember now Arizona is 2.5 million in the hole and they are still digging the hole.

First , there is a 10% surcharge on all civil penalties and criminal fines.

Second , there is a voluntary $5.00 check-off on Arizona state income tax forms.

Third, Voluntary dollar for dollar tax credit on donations of up to $640. or 20% state income tax amount which ever is greater.  Now I ask you why would you give this money to the state, when you could give it directly to the candidate that you want in office,..  Seems slightly silly.

Fourth, Civil penalties paid by candidates,.  this has got to be a money maker.

and Fifth $5.00 qualifying contributions collected from participating candidates.

Here’s a question, has anyone ever done a audit on this program???

2010 Calender Year Funding Projections

First , Court Assessments  (53%) , I thought the court system was broke

Second,Tax Check -off /Tax Credit (47%)

Third , $5.00 qualifying contribution (.05%)

Fourth, Other including Commission Assessments, .05,,,other always bothers me.

Here are some facts.

First, Clean Election candidates favor larger government expenditures.

Second, Clean Elections candidates statistically represent the two major parties,. Bingo!!

Third,  Ballot status of all third parties is jeopardized by Clean Elections.

Fourth, Government exerts direct control over the context and content of participating candidates. A participating candidate has taken government money and agreed to an election contract.

Fifth, Unelected government bureaucrats have removed electied representatives from office for accounting mistakes.

Sixth,  Clean Election Commissions have tried to enforce rules on non participating candidates including additional subsidies to participating candidates.

Bottom line ,  any time you take government money , for what ever the reason , there are strings attached , as their should be.

It is true the voters voted for this program, they also voted for Janet Napalitano,. Look what it got them .

The real point is this,.  First Arizona is broke, even my opponent admits to that.  So the question that remains is this.  “If you say your a Conservative , are you really a conservative if you use collected taxes to buy a campaign.  Are you a Conservative until Conservatisim gets in the way of running for political office.  Just asking?

Lets do all of Arizona a favor, lets give the money in the Clean Election Account to Dean Martin and tell him to pay down the Arizona state  debt.

This is another reason we must revitalize rural America.

Filed under: My Posts — thearizonasentinel @ 9:20 pm

 Ezekiel Chapter 33
Last night I spoke at a Tea Party group in Payson Arizona.  One of the topics was Rural Agriculture. I stated that we must end subsidizing Corporate farming that is not family owned and  operated.  Non resident, operated and managed farming should never receive taxpayer funds or subsidies.  This is the only issue that I have ever agreed with John McCain.  Corporate subsidized farms, have destroyed rural agriculture and have forced generations of what would have been hand me down farms into mega farms.  We do not need genetically modified grains or produce.  What we need to do is put all those millions of acres of land that we currently pay with taxpayer dollars not to produce back into production . We need to create tax policy or no tax policy that would encourage young farmers to stay on the farm. Shut down these giant commercial feed lots, and allow farmers to feed their steers to butcher weight. Will we do this,. No not as long as the Republicans and Democrats are bought and paid for by Monsanto, ADM, and mega corporations that have run the family farmer off the land.  In Arizona it is my intent to create a tax policy , and Investment tax credit, on the state form, that will spur rural farming.  Going forward, we are going to need to be feeding ourselves will local production,.. Lets just use Crap and Tax for example.  The cost of production elsewhere and transporting to your kitchen table is going to be out of sight,.. Having said that , here is another reason we can not allow the fed gov parasites to take control of our rivers, lakes, ponds and well water.  The federal government must get out of the way.

Monsanto’s GMO Corn Linked To Organ Failure, Study Reveals

According to the study, which was summarized by Adam Shake at Twilight Earth, “Three varieties of Monsanto’s GM corn – Mon 863, insecticide-producing Mon 810, and Roundup® herbicide-absorbing NK 603 – were approved for consumption by US, European and several other national food safety authorities.”

Monsanto gathered its own crude statistical data after conducting a 90-day study, even though chronic problems can rarely be found after 90 days, and concluded that the corn was safe for consumption. The stamp of approval may have been premature, however.

In the conclusion of the IJBS study, researchers wrote:

“Effects were mostly concentrated in kidney and liver function, the two major diet detoxification organs, but in detail differed with each GM type. In addition, some effects on heart, adrenal, spleen and blood cells were also frequently noted. As there normally exists sex differences in liver and kidney metabolism, the highly statistically significant disturbances in the function of these organs, seen between male and female rats, cannot be dismissed as biologically insignificant as has been proposed by others. We therefore conclude that our data strongly suggests that these GM maize varieties induce a state of hepatorenal toxicity….These substances have never before been an integral part of the human or animal diet and therefore their health consequences for those who consume them, especially over long time periods are currently unknown.”

Monsanto has immediately responded to the study, stating that the research is “based on faulty analytical methods and reasoning and do not call into question the safety findings for these products.”

The IJBS study’s author Gilles-Eric Séralini responded to the Monsanto statement on the blog, Food Freedom, “Our study contradicts Monsanto conclusions because Monsanto systematically neglects significant health effects in mammals that are different in males and females eating GMOs, or not proportional to the dose. This is a very serious mistake, dramatic for public health. This is the major conclusion revealed by our work, the only careful reanalysis of Monsanto crude statistical data.”

Ezekiel  Chapter 33

This fella Soetoro is no dummy,..  Many of us running for Governor in 2010 , have said that we will defederalize the State Guard units,.. It will be interesting to see if any sitting governors will sign on to this undermining of state sovereignty.    www.bruceolsen4gov.com In 2010, we are going to dramatically transform Washington DC.  Rinos and Democrats prepare because we are coming for you.

I wonder who the appointed lackey governors will be. Since governors no longer support states sovereignty, they, a good number of them will be kissing this lackey presidents butt and go along with his plan. ——————————————————————————– THE WHITE HOUSE Office of the Press Secretary For Immediate Release January 11, 2010 EXECUTIVE ORDER ESTABLISHMENT OF THE COUNCIL OF GOVERNORS By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including section 1822 of the National Defense Authorization Act of 2008 (Public Law 110-181), and in order to strengthen further the partnership between the Federal Government and State governments to protect our Nation and its people and property, it is hereby ordered as follows: Section 1. Running under the Tea Party brand may be better in congressional races than being a Republican.

In a three-way Generic Ballot test, the latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds Democrats attracting 36% of the vote. The Tea Party candidate picks up 23%, and Republicans finish third at 18%. Another 22% are undecided.

Among voters not affiliated with either major party, the Tea Party comes out on top. Thirty-three percent (33%) prefer the Tea Party candidate, and 30% are undecided. Twenty-five percent (25%) would vote for a Democrat, and just 12% prefer the GOP.

Among Republican voters, 39% say they’d vote for the GOP candidate, but 33% favor the Tea Party option.

For this survey, the respondents were asked to assume that the Tea Party movement organized as a new political party. In practical terms, it is unlikely that a true third-party option would perform as well as the polling data indicates. The rules of the election process—written by Republicans and Democrats–provide substantial advantages for the two established major parties. The more conventional route in the United States is for a potential third-party force to overtake one of the existing parties.

The standard Generic Congressional Ballot shows Republicans holding a modest lead over Democrats. It appears that the policies of the Obama administration and the Democratic Congress are currently enough to unite both those who prefer Republicans and those who prefer the Tea Party route.

Data from the Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll shows that just 55% of conservatives nationwide consider themselves Republicans. Recent polling shows that 73% of Republican voters believe their leaders in Washington are out of touch with the party base.

Republican voters are paying a lot more attention to the Tea Party movement than anyone else. Forty-three percent (43%) of GOP voters are following news about the movement Very Closely. Another 30% are following it Somewhat Closely. Just 12% of Democrats are following stories about the Tea Party movement Very Closely.

Seventy percent (70%) of Republican voters have a favorable opinion of the Tea Party movement while only seven percent (7%) offer an unfavorable view. Interestingly, 49% of Democrats have no opinion one way or the other.

Among unaffiliated voters, 43% have a favorable opinion of the Tea Party efforts while 20% say the opposite.

Forty-one percent (41%) of all voters nationwide say Republicans and Democrats are so much alike that a new party is needed to represent the American people. Republicans are evenly divided on this question, while Democrats overwhelmingly disagree. However, among those not affiliated with either major party, 60% agree that a new party is needed, and only 25% disagree. Men are far more likely than women to believe a new party is needed.

As for the voting preference, the Tea Party bests the GOP among both men and women and in all age groups except those over 65.

The Tea Party candidates are the first choice among political conservatives. Among moderates, the Tea Party candidates are more popular than Republicans. However, nearly half of all moderate voters prefer a Democrat.

Among the Political Class, not a single respondent picked the Tea Party candidate.

However, among those with populist or Mainstream views, 31% prefer the Tea Party, and 26% are undecided. Twenty-three percent (23%) pick a Republican candidate, and 19% are for the Democrat (See more on the Political Class-Mainstream divide).
