Prime Minister of Isreal Benjamine Netanyahu Agrees with Ron Paul,

Wake up America, Isreal can take care of themselves.  Listen,. All these other establishment candidates are playing up to the media and, special interests.  If Iran were to raise its hand against Israel, Israel would chop it off and shove it down their throats.  Remember if the media or the Republican party are pushing an agenda,  thinking Americans should reject it out right.   Look at what just happened with the so called 60 day extension , that supposedly had the Keystone Pipeline tied to it.   The media and the Republicrats promoted the idiotic 60 day taxcut extension(which guts social security), with the pipeline.  Obama says he needs more time to study the ups and downs of the pipeline, he  will nix the pipeline or drag it out until Canada says to hell with ya.   The Republicans underlings in the house and senate are being played once again, like a cheap flu te.   Washington DC makes my hair hurt.

CNN wants Romney to show his tax returns , school transcripts, and so on .. Here’s a thought Wolf ,, how about asking for Obama’s school records, birth certificate, shot records, selective service records, medical records,. What about it Wolfie, your a fraud from the word go. Show me where Obama had his name legally changed, you cant, there for someone, with a phony name ,alias is in the White House.

There is a deadly disease that is rampent in America,

It is government tyranny via False Flag Events! There is only one cure.  A Ron Paul Administration.  This is it folks.

Here’s the question for you America.  Which Candidate Currently running for the White House , do you think will put a stop to these treasonous events perpetrated by our own federal government and sanctioned by state governments.  Many County Sheriffs around the country have finally woke up and are doing something about this.  But we need a solid American in the Oval office that can not be bought.  You can count on another event before the election of 2012.

I was in our local coffee shop , in Oklahoma the morning the Murrah building came down.  With in minutes many of us knew that the federal government , and local law enforcement in OKC, was behind  and complicit in this event. Fact, No ATF agents showed up for work on April 19th,1995 in the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building, WHY?   Bill Clinton was re elected because of the OKC bombing, even said as much.  Consider this, why do you suppose the media including fox has failed to fully investigate, 911.  I salute Jesse Ventura and Alex Jones for doing everything they can to expose these activities to the America citizens. The question is this. Why would the government, law enforcement, elected officials, state and federal do these things to the country.   I’ll leave those un answered questions for you to answer.  One more, why would you care about what happened in OKC, Waco, Iraq, New York, the southern borders of the U.S. and many other places here and around the world?  Your hearing  a lot of noise  about Iran, last month it  was Libya, before that Egypt and Tunisia,  they are the least of your worries!!!! click here: http://president.globalincidentmap.com/map.php

Ron Paul : The NDAA Repeals more rights.

“Little by little, in the name of fighting terrorism, our Bill of Rights is being repealed. The 4th amendment has been rendered toothless by the PATRIOT Act. No more can we truly feel secure in our persons, houses, papers, and effects when now there is an exception that fits nearly any excuse for our government to search and seize our property. Of course, the vast majority of Americans may say “I’m not a terrorist, so I have no reason to worry.” However, innocent people are wrongly accused all the time. The Bill of Rights is there precisely because the founders wanted to set a very high bar for the government to overcome in order to deprive an individual of life or liberty. To lower that bar is to endanger everyone. When the bar is low enough to include political enemies, our descent into totalitarianism is virtually assured…

America Have you had enough yet. Its time to Recall and Remove Members in House and Senate that voted for SB 1867/HR 1540

Most of the following is a repeat of an earlier post , but its necessary to re submit.  There has been a lot of talk lately about these FEMA camps, and now we are being told that FEMA is looking for contractors to man and staff these camps. Well we’ve got a plan, one that will save America, and prevent the borrowing of  billions of dollars from China .  Instead of FEMA/DHS running around gathering up American Citizens , violating their civil protections under the Constitution and State Laws.  We believe the real enemy of the United States can be found inside the beltway,  in fact there are 93 Senators, and all their staff, 335 members of the House of Representatives that either voted for or failed to vote nay on HR 1540 the NDAA bill, and their staffs. Therefore we should round them up , and send them to one of these FEMA camps that Glen Beck says do not exist.   That would save the  country, and save billions of dollars otherwise spent incarcerating actual constitutional Americans.  If anyone has any connection with KBR, (Kellogg ,Brown , Root)  tell them we are only going to need one maybe two camps.  Im sure the Republicans and Democrats will want their own separate camps.

To see your states recall laws:  http://www.ballotpedia.org/wiki/index.php/Laws_governing_recall#State.2C_local.2C_and_federal

We recently have been learning from Jack Abramoff how the lobbyist own the members of the house and senate.  In fact on day two, the process of buying votes begins.  Check out Jacks tell all book “Capitol Punishment”.  It will give you an inside view of “K” street, and the corruption that goes on between Capitol Hill and the Lobbyist.  I wonder how much lobbying KBR did  on  capital hill in support of 1867&1540.  We need to look at war chest contributions to see how much money, was spent and who they bought.

I think the President would be inclined to go along with this plan. After all he’s been having to work around the Senate and House ever since he’s been in the White House. I can see him now, running around in his gym shorts, singing “O what a relief it is”.

This time DC has bit off more than they can chew.  They need to keep in mind , for everyone of us they lock up , there will be thousands standing behind us.  SB 1867/HR 1540, is the straw that broke the camels back.  One more point , our men and women are coming home from Iraq.  And we all know which side of the Flag and our Constitution they’ll stand.   And while Im at it, which one of the current list of candidates for president , do you suppose would actually close these camps and release all those that Janet locks up. Just a wild guess , but I’ll bet his  name is Ron Paul.

On this day 12/1/2011 ninety seven United  States Senators became the enemy of the U.S. Constitution.  There were only seven senators that voted against SB 1867.  The bill  that authorizes the President to arrest and detain American citizens that he deems a threat to the country or his administration. Those Senators that stood with the Constitution are the following , Coburn/Oklahoma, Harkin/Iowa, Lee/Utah,Merkley/Oregon,Paul/Kentucky,Sanders/Vermont,Wyden/Oregon.

The following link will tell you how your states house member voted.  If he or she voted for HR 154o start the recall/remove process now, make certain they have no chance of making it thru the 2012 election cycle.  This is it folks.

Those Senators that voted for this Unconstitutional Bill were the following,

Ayotte (R-NH),Barrasso (R-WY),Blunt (R-MO),Boozman (R-AR),Brown (R-MA),Burr (R-NC),Casey (D-PA),Chambliss (R-GA),Coats (R-IN),Cochran (R-MS),Collins (R-ME),Conrad (D-ND),Corker (R-TN),Cornyn (R-TX),Crapo (R-ID),DeMint (R-SC),Enzi (R-WY),Graham (R-SC),Grassley (R-IA),Hagan (D-NC),Hatch (R-UT),Heller (R-NV),Hoeven (R-ND),Hutchison (R-TX),Inhofe (R-OK),Inouye (D-HI),Isakson (R-GA),Johanns (R-NE),Johnson (R-WI),Kohl (D-WI),Kyl (R-AZ),Landrieu (D-LA),Lee (R-UT),Levin (D-MI-authored the bill),Lieberman (ID-CT),Lugar (R-IN),Manchin (D-WV),McCain (R-AZ authored the bill),McCaskill (D-MO),McConnell (R-KY),Menendez (D-NJ),Moran (R-KS),Nelson (D-NE),Portman (R-OH),Pryor (D-AR),Reed (D-RI),Risch (R-ID),Roberts (R-KS),Rubio(R-FL),Sessions (R-AL),Shaheen (D-NH),Shelby (R-AL),Snowe (R-ME),Stabenow (D-MI),Thune (R-SD),Toomey (R-PA),Vitter (R-LA),Whitehouse (D-RI),Wicker (R-MS)

These senators have declared war on America.  This bill will now go to conference, if this language is not stricken from the bill , it will be up to the House to kill it.  Once again America, your going to have to fight like your life depends on it.  The truth is , it does.  Everyone of these senators that are up for election , assuming we have one in November 2012 , must go , no exceptions.  Or they must be recalled before they can do the  country any more damage.

Here is the link to contact your member of the House, and tell them to kill every word in this bill,  SB 1867: Starting monday , flood the switchboard, : http://www.house.gov/contact/

Americans were outraged after our elected representatives in Congress moved forward with over a trillion dollars in emergency bailout funds for banks, investment firms and failing corporations in the midst of the 2008 financial crisis. After tens of thousands of phone calls to the Congressional switchboard, overwhelmingly against the bailout funds, the American public was largely ignored by the majority of their elected representatives, who would eventually saddle taxpayers with a long-term debt in excess of $20 trillion.

In March of 2009, the American public resoundingly rejected the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (a.k.a. Obama Care) after it was made known that the bill would mandate, by force if necessary, that every citizen would be required to acquire health insurance. Not only did Congress and the President pass legislation that would, in a supposedly free country, require every American to forcefully pay for a service they may not want, but the more than 1000 page bill was written, introduced and approved before any Senator or Representative had a chance to read it, with Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi famously saying:

“You have to pass the bill before you can find out what is in it…”

While those laws may be shamelessly contradictory to the fundamental Constitutional law of the land, and as outrageous as it was for Congressional representatives to ignore the American public’s calls to reject the bills, none of those come even remotely close to the most recent transgressions against the people with the passage of the National Defense Authorization Act.

As Americans enjoyed themselves with the holiday shopping season, Congress and the Executive branch worked tirelessly to destroy the 4th and 6th Amendments of the US Constitution, which protect an individual’s natural right “to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures” and ensure due process with evidence, witnesses, and public trial. The passage of the NDAA has prompted Senator Rand Paul to warn Americans that they could be considered terrorists for seemingly innocent activity and an an op-ed in the New York Times titled Guantanamo Forever? by U.S. Marine generals Charles Krulak and Joseph Hoar argued that the new legislation would essentially nullify aspects of the Constitution, saying “due process would be a thing of the past.”

One thing is clear with the passage of this legislation, and that is those Senators and Congressman who voted for its passage are violating their oaths to support and protect the Constitution of the United States, because everything in the bill is counter to the principles outlined in our founding document. As such, concerned citizens around the country are now actively pursuing grass roots efforts to utilize a never-before enacted power of the people: the recall.

Via The Daily Kos and Sherri Questioning All:

Moving quickly on Christmas Day after the US Senate voted 86 – 14 to pass the National Defense Authorization Act of 2011 (NDAA) which allows for the indefinite military detention of American citizens without charge or trial, Montanans have announced the launch of recall campaigns against Senators Max Baucus and Jonathan Tester, who voted for the bill.

Montana is one of nine states with provisions that say that the right of recall extends to recalling members of its federal congressional delegation, pursuant to Montana Code 2-16-603, on the grounds of physical or mental lack of fitness, incompetence, violation of oath of office, official misconduct, or conviction of certain felony offenses.

Section 2 of Montana Code 2-16-603 reads:

“(2) A public officer holding an elective office may be recalled by the qualified electors entitled to vote for the elective officer’s successor.”

While the Montana Constitution (and those of other states) allows for a recall to take place, there is some question about whether these powers, which are technically undefined by the US Constitution, can be used to remove acting Congressional representatives:

The website Ballotpedia.org cites eight other states which allow for the recall of elected federal officials: Arizona, Colorado, Louisiana, Michigan, Nevada, North Dakota, Oregon, and Wisconsin. New Jersey’s federal recall law was struck down when a NJ state judge ruled that “the federal Constitution does not allow states the power to recall U.S. senators,” despite the fact the Constitution explicitly allows, by not disallowing (“prohibited” in the Tenth Amendment,) the states the power to recall US senators and congressmen:

“The powers not…prohibited…are reserved to the States…or to the people.” – Tenth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

The issue of federal official recall has never reached the federal courts.

Nonetheless, we may soon find out, as Montana is spearheading the movement to remove both of their Senators from office, as per the petition draft that is now circulating:

“The Sixth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution guarantees all U.S citizens:

“a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed…”

The National Defense Authorization Act of 2011 (NDAA 2011) permanently abolishes the Sixth Amendment right to a jury trial, “for the duration of hostilities” in the War on Terror, which was defined by President George W. Bush as “task which does not end” to a joint session of Congress on September 20, 2001.

Those who voted Aye on December 15th, 2011, Bill of Rights Day, for NDAA 2011 have attempted to grant powers which cannot be granted, which violate both the spirit and the letter of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence.

The Montana Recall Act stipulates that officials including US senators can only be recalled for physical or mental lack of fitness, incompetence, violation of the oath of office, official misconduct, or conviction of a felony offense. We the undersigned call for a recall election to be held for Senator Max S. Baucus [and Senator Jonathan Tester] and charge that he has violated his oath of office, to protect and defend the United States Constitution.”

While there may be eight other states whose Constitutions allow for the recall of federally elected officials, the US Constitution itself has reserved these rights for the people of each state, suggesting that such a recall movement can gain steam all over the country, and may be our last best hope of restoring Constitutional rule of law to America.

Why a Tea Party Conservative now supports Ron Paul, including his foreign policy.

December 16, 2011

Why a Tea Party conservative now supports Ron Paul…including his foreign policy.

By Russ Paladino

Ask any conservative about Ron Paul and you will usually hear the following statement: “I love him on fiscal policy but his foreign policy is naive and dangerous.” You can also throw in the obligatory “He hates Israel.” If someone had asked me about Paul from 9/12/01 through October of 2011, I’d have said the exact same things.

Something about my certitude always felt a bit uncomfortable, though, because I admired the “good parts” of Ron Paul (and later, his son Rand). Having participated in the Tea Party movement since its inception, and then witnessing the phony propaganda concocted to invalidate it, my BS meter began to pin whenever I heard (or spoke) harsh rhetoric denouncing Ron Paul. Since the contradiction bugged me, I decided to take the advice of my twenty-year-old son and read Ron Paul’s book, Revolution. This required me to consider ideas which were once unthinkable. I undertook the mission with the promise to think outside my conservative box.

After reading the book, I came away with a completely different understanding of Ron Paul and his philosophy. I’m hoping my Tea Party compatriots, fellow conservatives, and all Americans will step outside their own comfort zones to do the same. It is vital that our nation seriously consider the important constitutional concepts and defense of liberty that Ron Paul espouses.

Today, the Middle East is falling to Islamic rule like a series of dominos. The supposed “friendly Arab nations” want our troops out of their land and threaten to side with our enemies. Our soldiers are hamstrung by politically correct rules of engagement that make them sitting ducks. Our economy is collapsing under the weight of our debt (a good portion of which goes to fund our worldwide military adventures), and our effort to spread a love of liberty among Middle-Eastern nations is thwarted by the unfortunate reality that the clans and cultures do not desire our brand of freedom. We were led to believe that we could leave Iraq after they became able to defend themselves. With all that we’ve invested, there is still uncertainty about whether they are up to the job. We have never received the oil benefits that were supposed to follow from our liberation of Iraq, as we pay upwards of $4.00 a gallon at the pump!

Our effort to be an honest broker of Israeli/Palestinian peace has produced a decades-long record of abject failure. The game is such that we give mountains of money to both sides and then compel Israel to fall in line with our demands. We simultaneously force Palestinians to make promises that they have no intention of keeping. We have tried to play both ends against the middle, and both parties look at us with suspicion and/or contempt. Perhaps it’s time we heed Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu’s request (from the pulpit of the U.S. Congress) that we allow Israel to negotiate and defend herself as she sees fit?

This just so happens to be the view of Ron Paul as well. He believes that we should always provide unambiguous rhetorical support for Israel and trade our goods and military armaments with her freely. We must also liberate her from the heavy hand of U.S. dominance in her affairs. If Iran or others attempt to make war on Israel, our involvement should be predicated on whether Israel asks for our military help, and then if Congress authorizes military actions by declaring war. That’s how the Constitution says it’s supposed to work!

Why are we are so willing to dismiss the one candidate in this race who dares to highlight the undeniable truths about our foreign policy failures? How could it be that we are terrified to consider the concept of pulling back, regrouping, and retooling that which is demonstrably failing? It’s not that our soldiers have not gone above and beyond everything we’ve asked them to do, and done it with heroism and honor. It’s that we’ve seen fit to keep them deployed indefinitely in an ill-defined mission, where the concept of victory is far from clear. It is less patriotic to keep the status quo than to acknowledge our foreign policy failures and correct them. Don’t we owe that much to the troops? Perhaps this is why Ron Paul is far and away the choice of active duty military in terms of campaign contributions?

Our military is spread dangerously thin, and its bloated bureaucracy is just as detrimental to our physical security as our fiscal mess is to our economic security. The times demand that we elect a leader who will do more than just nibble around the edges. Ron Paul’s approach is the most comprehensive of all the candidates’ for returning the United States of America to its constitutional roots and founding principles. We must elect a leader who we can trust has the values, integrity, and record to follow through and get it done. Ron Paul has been doggedly consistent in his fidelity to the constitution in all his years in public office. He is a man of integrity.

Making Ron Paul the GOP candidate for president will send the strongest possible message to a Republican establishment that is hell-bent on co-opting the Tea Party and maintaining the status quo. A primary victory will make it unmistakably clear that we meant it when we marched in D.C. on 9/12/08. We meant it when we gathered in D.C. to protest the implementation of Obamacare. We mean it when we petition our representatives about government intrusions into the free market and individual liberty, and we will not be patted on the head and disregarded anymore!

Ron Paul has a complete vision for restoring our fiscal health and rebuilding our status as the world’s wealthiest nation. Wealthy nations are historically the safest, and unfortunately, we are no longer the wealthiest. Paul’s prescription for putting our fiscal house in order and returning us to a free-market growth economy will make our nation safer than it is today. Economic implosion is a more realistic and immediate issue than Iran delivering a nuke to our shores (a move that would ensure that nation’s immediate annihilation). That’s not to say that we should ever take the Islamic fundamentalist menace lightly — far from it. We must be ever vigilant in protecting against their maniacal aims. However, at this moment we are at the tipping point of economic collapse, after which we won’t be able to fend off enemies of any kind.

To this I say with confidence, Ron Paul 2012!

Russ Paladino is a small business owner who has been active in the Tea Party movement since its inception. He has served on the staff of the Staten Island Tea Party and is the co-founder of the grassroots group Staten Island LiberTEA.

Green Is The New Red
Wednesday, December 21, 2011

The FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force has kept files on activists who expose animal welfare abuses on factory farms and recommended prosecuting them as terrorists, according to a new document uncovered through the Freedom of Information Act.

This new information comes as the Center for Constitutional Rights has filed a lawsuit challenging the Animal Enterprise Terrorism Act (AETA) as unconstitutional because its vague wording has had a chilling effect on political activism. This document adds to the evidence demonstrating that the AETA goes far beyond property destruction, as its supporters claim.

The 2003 FBI file details the work of several animal rights activists who used undercover investigation to document repeated animal welfare violations. The FBI special agent who authored the report said they “illegally entered buildings owned by [redacted] Farm… and videotaped conditions of animals.”

The animal activists caused “economic loss” to businesses, the FBI says. And they also openly rescued several animals from the abusive conditions. This was not done covertly in the style of underground groups like the Animal Liberation Front — it was an act of non-violent civil disobedience and, as the FBI agent notes, the activists distributed press releases and conducted media interviews taking responsibility for their actions.

Based on these acts — trespassing in order to photograph and videotape abuses on factory farms — the agent concludes there “is a reasonable indication” that the activists “have violated the Animal Enterprise Terrorism Act, 18 USC Section 43 (a).”

The file was uncovered through a FOIA request by Ryan Shapiro, who is one of the activists mentioned. The file is available for download here. [Please note that this document has additional redactions in order to protect the identities of the other activists, at their request.] Shapiro is now a doctoral candidate at MIT.

“It is deeply sobering to see one’s name in an FBI file proposing terrorism charges,” he said in an email. “It is even more sobering to realize the supposedly terroristic activities in question are merely exposing the horrific cruelty of factory farms, educating the public about what goes on behind those closed doors, and openly rescuing a few animals from one of those farms as an act of civil disobedience.”

When I testified before Congress against the AETA in 2006, one of the primary concerns I raised is that the law could be used to wrap up a wide range of activity that threatens corporate profits. Supporters of the AETA have repeatedly denied this, and said the law will only be used against people who do things like burn buildings.

So how do we explain that such a sweeping prosecution was being considered in 2003, under the law’s somewhat-narrower precursor?

One possibility is that FBI agents lack training, education, and oversight. They are spying on political activists without understanding or respecting the law.

Another explanation is that this document is no mistake, nor is it an isolated case. It is a reflection of a coordinated campaign to target animal rights activists who, as the FBI agent notes, cause “economic loss” to corporations.

At the state, federal, and international levels, corporations have orchestrated an attempt to silence political activists, and a key target has been undercover investigators. For example:

The FBI makes clear that the Animal Enterprise Terrorism Act is not about protecting public safety; it is about protecting corporate profits. Corporations and the politicians who represent them have repeatedly lied to the American public about the scope of this legislation, and claimed that the law only targets underground groups like the Animal Liberation Front. The truth is that this terrorism law has been slowly, methodically expanded to include the tactics of national organizations like the Humane Society of the United States.

This document illustrates how the backlash against effective activism has progressed within the animal rights movement. However, if this type of legislation is not overturned, it will set a precedent for corporations to use this model against Occupy Wall Street and anyone else who threaten business as usual.

BP solar business exit counters trend by Google, Buffett, TransCanada

BP Plc is exiting the solar business after 40 years, countering a trend led by Google Inc., Warren Buffett, TransCanada and Total SA of investing in the industry just as competition drives down the cost of sun-based power.

Europe’s second-largest oil company will wind down the unit over several months because it has become unprofitable, BP Solar Chief Executive Officer Mike Petrucci told staff in an internal letter last week. About 100 employees will be affected.

BP Solar is withdrawing from an industry that’s facing oversupply and price pressures after Chinese competitors increased production. Total, Europe’s third-biggest oil company, Buffett and Google have entered the industry with investments over the last six months to take advantage of attractive tax breaks, declining costs and a source of power hedged against high fossil-fuel prices. TransCanada also said it is buying nine Ontario solar projects from Canadian Solar Solutions Inc. for $470-million.
BP’s move is an anomaly with more companies trying to get involved than are getting out, said Paul Leming, an analyst with Ticonderoga Securities LLC analyst in New York.

“Two of the biggest oil companies have taken the opposite approaches,” Leming said in a phone interview. “The move toward alternative energy continues to be a well-recognized megatrend.”

BP’s solar equipment venture in India with Tata Power Co. is conducting “business as usual,” K. Subramanya, chief executive of Tata BP Solar India Ltd., said today by phone. BP owns 51% of India’s third-biggest cell and panel maker. Tata Power, the utility arm of the industrial company that owns Corus Group and Jaguar Land Rover, declined to comment.

‘Pretty Dire’

“I can’t speak on behalf of my shareholders,” Subramanya said from Bangalore. “All I can say is we continue to conduct our business capably and actively.”

BP, an early entrant into the business, found it difficult compete against newer rivals, Bloomberg New Energy Finance said in a note to clients.

“Manufacturing is looking pretty dire for everyone, and BP was outpaced by faster moving pure-plays years ago,” the London-based researcher said. While its move to diversify from manufacturing into building plants was more successful, “BP had no obvious competitive advantage apart from access to finance,” it said.

Panel prices plunged 48% this year, helping tip three U.S. makers including Solyndra LLC into bankruptcy. Solon SE, Germany’s first listed solar company, filed for insolvency last week.

‘Making It Difficult’

“The continuing global economic challenges have significantly impacted the solar industry, making it difficult to sustain long-term returns for the company,” Petrucci said in the letter to staff.

BP Solar stopped most of its manufacturing in early 2009, closing several factories in Spain and shedding 480 jobs after the Spanish market froze, triggering the solar industry’s first period of strong oversupply. Tata BP’s Subramanya declined to say at what capacity the India plants are producing equipment.

In July, BP Solar decided to quit manufacturing entirely and focus on developing large projects. It no longer has manufacturing plants, Robert Wine, a spokesman for the London- based parent, said today by phone.

BP Solar plans to sell its stakes in the more than 158 megawatts of projects it’s developed with local partners in countries including Italy, Spain, Germany, Britain and the U.S. The decision will not affect BP’s other renewable energy units, which include wind power and biofuels, Wine said.

SunPower, Buffett

Paris-based Total bought a 60 percent stake in SunPower Corp., which makes panels, in April as high natural-gas prices in Europe and increasing concerns about nuclear power sparked interest in clean energy.

Buffett’s MidAmerican Energy Holdings agreed this month to buy a $2 billion solar project under development in California and a 49 percent stake in a $1.8 billion plant in Arizona. Generous solar tax credits valid to 2015 may have lured the billionaire investor, who already owns wind farms, into his first solar foray, Gerard Reid, an analyst at Jefferies International Ltd., said on Dec. 7.

Google announced an agreement yesterday with the private equity firm KKR & Co. to invest in four California solar plants, bringing the owner of the most popular Internet search engine’s total investment in clean-energy projects to $915 million, according to a statement.

Global investment in renewable energy was US$195-billion in 2010 and is expected to more than double to US$395-billion in 2020, according to BNEF.
