Poll: Ron Paul defeats Obama for the first time nationally

Fans of Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul will rejoice upon hearing the following news: Congressman Paul (R-TX) has defeated President Barack Obama in a Rasmussen Reports daily presidential tracking poll of general election voters released Monday. This is the first time that Mr. Paul has defeated Mr. Obama nationally. Mr. Paul garnered 43 percent of the votes among general election voters and Mr. Obama pulled 41 percent of the votes.

Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney also bested Mr. Obama. The Bain Capital co-founder earned 45 percent of the votes and the former Illinois senator brought in 43 percent of the votes. This is the first time since December 2011 that Mr. Romney has led Mr. Obama in a Rasmussen Reports daily presidential tracking poll.

While Mr. Paul and Mr. Romney are now favored over Mr. Obama in a general election, former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich trail the president. Mr. Santorum lost to Mr. Obama by 2 percentage points and Mr. Gingrich fell to the president by 10 percentage points.

While Mr. Paul trails the Pennsylvania Republican and the Michigan native in the upcoming elections in Michigan and Arizona, the Texas congressman’s victory over Mr. Obama adds to his electability. The Rasmussen Reports poll, which included Republicans, Democrats and Independents, suggests that Mr. Paul appeals to a wide range of voters.

As Mr. Paul deals with the growing number of voices who believe that he is in collusion with Mr. Romney, this poll is an indication that the former Air Force surgeon may be a Republican front-runner.

Regardless of the outcomes of the upcoming elections, Mr. Paul has vowed to stay in the race until the Republican convention in August. Mr. Paul’s ability to defeat Obama nationally, however, may convince more voters to support him in the primaries and caucuses.

Rasmussen Reports interviewed 1,500 likely general election voters. The poll is reported on a three-day rolling average basis. The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.

Ron Paul beats Romney,Santorum in New York Straw Poll. Who do you want in the White House ?

Anyone can tell you what you want to hear in a Campaign. RonPaul has been telling you what you need to hear for 30 years. Wake up America!!! He also won the Straw poll over Newt in Georgia.

I want to thank all of you that have sent us address’. We’ve doubled our base over one year ago, I suspect Obama has had a lot to do with that .  The work load has doubled and we are enjoying every minute of it.  Thankyou Americans. Thanks Obama we’re Winning The Fight.  The question I’m sure that is on everyone’s mind. Is will Air Force One have to fly him all the way home to Kenya next January?

Ron Paul clobbers Romney, Santorum in New York straw poll

The State Column | Friday, February 24, 2012

Congressman Ron Paul (R-TX), a candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, clobbered Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum in a New York straw poll Thursday night, according to a post from the Facebook page of the Amherst GOP Presidential Caucus.

Mr. Paul won the Amherst GOP straw poll with 31.9 percent of the votes (30 votes). Mr. Santorum, a former Pennsylvania senator, finished in second place with 26.6 percent of the votes (25 votes). Mr. Romney, a former Massachusetts Governor, took third place with 22.3 percent of the votes (21 votes) and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich finished at the bottom of the Republican pack with 19.2 percent of the votes (18 votes).

The New York straw poll was not Mr. Paul’s first straw poll victory in the 2012 presidential race nor is it likely to be his last. Nearly defeating Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (R-MN) in the Ames straw poll in August of last year, the Texas congressman’s numerous straw poll victories have become an important part of his campaign to become the next Republican presidential nominee.

Mr. Paul has managed to win straw polls in states where official polls show him in last place for the Republican presidential nomination. The former Air Force surgeon won the New York straw poll despite his position in recent polls of likely voters in the New York Republican presidential primary. The latest Quinnipiac University poll, for example, found Mr. Paul in third place with 14 percent of the votes, but the Texas Republican’s supporters rallied for their candidate Thursday night.

Mr. Paul’s victory in the New York straw poll demonstrates how committed his grassroots network of supporters are to their candidate. Winning straw polls, which requires the ability to mobilize supporters to a straw poll location, has become a hallmark of Mr. Paul’s campaign.

The New York straw poll included 94 participants from the Amherst Republican Committee in Amherst, New York.

Enjoy!  Americans you are being evicted illegally, out side of the sworn oath and the Constitution!  Its interesting that here is a man, defending the Constitution , he is not a parasite of the corporate  state.  The Commercial court has no authority over the Citizens of the Republic.
