There is no sound like the sound of an early morning take off , in crisp cool air. Whether it be a round or inline , be it piston or jet. It’s the sound of  freedom of the skies. Americans once knew what Freedom was , lets hope we find it again.

This was my last flight in the Navy. December 1967.  I ended my flying career in 1994.  I should say that due to the federal government my interest in Business Commercial Aviation died. This Convair is currently on the ramp at the Air Museum in Tucson Arizona, she’s as pretty as ever.
