What are the top Five Federal Agencies that need to be eliminated. And why are we stopping there!

During last nights CNBC debate,  Rick Perry said  that he would immediately eliminate three federal agencies, he temporarily had a senior moment and misplaced the Energy Department. However, Ron Paul quickly tried to help his Texas Governor by holding up his hand and showing 5 fingers. Indicating to Gov Perry that  there were five agencies that needed to go away.

Well, many of us take a much different view related to these federal agencies.  If the American people realized just how many agencies that there are in the federal government , and how many federal agencies that are independent of the government but are non the less funded with taxpayer dollars they would stroke out.  If you will click on this link, this will give you and idea of the number of agencies inside the government.

http://www.usa.gov/directory/federal/index.shtml  ,, to save you some  time there are 481 agencies inside the federal government. There are 610 Independent agencies out side of the executive, plus or minus one or two. Giving us a grand total of 1091, one can’t even imagine the dollars that go down a sink hole with these groups.

So when Ron Paul tells America that there are only 5 agencies,   Department  of Energy, Department of Commerce, Department of Education , Department of Interior, and the Department of Housing and Urban  Development , these are a great start , but he’s only scratched the surface.

Adding the two together there are 1091 agencies , offices, department, then there are the hundreds if not thousands of groups and organizations like LaRaza, environmental groups that are funded by federal tax dollars that do nothing but come back around to bite the taxpayer in the butt. Any if you go thru the list ,  which I have several times over the years, you’ll find that several agencies are doing the same thing as another down the hall.  What we have folks is the largest system of government welfare in the world.  If Ron Paul , or any of the candidates want to stop spending start by reducing the employee levels in every agency by 30%. Then cut their administrative costs by 40%. Then set up an outside of the belt way commission to review the necessity of each agency with an executive mandate to eliminate 50% or more.  Eliminating all duplication.

America is Bankrupt, its surviving on monopoly money.  And its  time we get serious.  Jefferson County Alabama is just the beginning.  States are bankrupt , except for two, Nebraska and  Montana, and Montana is rapidly running out of cash.  Some states brag about having a surplus of cash , without mentioning their outstanding debt.   There’s been some talk lately about teaching a financial literacy course in grade school or high school, that will never happen , because if Americans understood the accounting that goes on in their government, there would be an armed revolution.

Walls Street is currently all wrapped up in the goings on in the EU.  Lets face it, the EU is going to fail. The Big bankers attempt to co mingle , cultures and societies is a flawed endeavor.  It’s like America, thinking that they will bring Democracy to Iraq,Iran,Afghanistan,Syria, Egypt, Libya , it ain’t gonna happen.  We’re just spending money we don’t have.  And killing or wounding thousands in the process.

Texas Congressman Ron Paul has been declared the winner of the 2011 Values Voter Summit Straw Poll, garnering 37 percent of the vote.

Herman Cain finished in second place with 23 percent, while Rick Santorum took third at 16 percent.

Rick Perry and Michele Bachmann finished in a dead-even tie for fourth at eight percent. The rest of the field saw Mitt Romney net four percent, Newt Gingrich at three percent and Jon Huntsman in dead last with zero percent.

After the vote, Slate’s David Weigel spoke with Family Research President Council president Tony Perkins, who credited a key strength of Paul’s presidential run:

“Do the math,” said Perkins. “Ron Paul and his campaign are very well organized.”

Paul’s campaign could prove to be a major 2012 GOP spoiler. The AP noted on Monday how Paul’s libertarian lean has energized some conservatives. But when asked about the term ‘spoiler’, Paul had this to say:

“I have no idea what exactly spoiler means,” Paul said recently while in New Hampshire. “If you’re a participant and you have an influence and you win or come close and you influence the debate, I think that’s pretty important. So I don’t put a negative term on that as spoiling anything. Spoiling their fun? Maybe they need a little spoiling.”

His support also showed during his speech itself. The Atlantic’s Molly Ball captured how well Paul’s rhetoric was received, describing his turn at the microphone as ‘rambling, didactic, full of obscure references — and rapturously received by his fans’, backed by segments such as this one.

“As long as we allow the federal government to grow…things will get worse,” he said. “But the good news is, a whole generation of Americans are rising up and saying, ‘We were on track at one time. Let’s get back on track.’ Let’s restore our liberty, prosperity and peace!”

MSNBC’s First Read adds that another segment of this particular straw poll revealed voters’ preferences for the GOP vice-presidential nominee. Bachmann finished in the top slot in that area, followed by Cain, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, and Santorum.

Cain or More of the Same
By: Herman Cain September 26, 2011

The results of last Saturday’s Florida straw poll sent a message to Washington, D.C. and the media establishment. “We the people” are still in charge of this country. The actual vote still matters, not just what the political and media pundits anticipate.

My winning total of 37 percent of the vote eclipsed the so-called two front-runners combined. Both campaign camps have tried to spin the results for other than what they really suggest. Namely, the citizen’s movement is bigger and more influential than most people recognize, and that message is more powerful than money.

Governors Romney and Perry spent a considerable amount of money trying to influence the outcome of the Florida straw poll. We rented a bus and did some bus tours, which gave me an opportunity to give a lot of speeches about my solutions on how to fix our nation’s crises, instead of more political rhetoric and ideas that all sound the same.

For example, Mitt Romney said during the last presidential debate that when he served as governor of Massachusetts, he didn’t inhale. His plan for economic growth and jobs suggests otherwise. It tries to incorporate tax policy, regulatory policy, trade policy, energy policy, labor policy, human capital policy and fiscal policy all in one plan, which makes it complex. Worst yet, his ideas pivot off of the current tax code.

Just like all of the other presidential primary candidates if they have a plan, they swap out one set of tax code loopholes for another set of loopholes. This keeps the lobbyists employed and the tax code growing, but nothing gets solved.

My 9-9-9 economic growth and jobs plan deals with economic growth and jobs. It starts with throwing out the existing tax code. Maybe this is why it fits on two pages instead of Mitt’s 160-page book. My plan can be crafted into legislation that I plan to get Congress to pass in the first 90 days of my administration. Mitt’s plan would require at least several pieces of big legislation, which would take a long time to get passed in Congress due to the complexity alone.

Our economy is on life support. It can’t afford to keep waiting. One of my guiding principles is that, if the public understands it, they will support it and demand that Congress pass it. I now realize that I should have also said if they can read it first. I invite all of you to read Mitt’s 160-page book and then get back to me. Or, you can read my two-page plan, which is easy to read and understand
.

After five presidential debates, many people are starting to notice that even though I may not be getting as much air time as other candidates, my responses are consistently about specific solutions on the major issues. The other candidates talk about the issues and offer the usual generic ideas for what we ought to do. If not that, they attack each other for past political missteps or what a problem should be called. Who cares what you call it? People want to hear about solutions.

My proposal to fix Social Security, for example, is to offer a personal retirement account option to younger workers patterned after the models used in Galveston County, Texas, and the nation of Chile. It has also been used successfully in 30 other countries, but you did not hear about any of that during the post-debate media coverage.

Although we are encouraged by the Florida straw polls results, we still have a lot of work to do and a long way to go in this campaign marathon. We are even more encouraged at how many people are starting to clearly see the difference between the usual political rhetoric and solutions that make sense.

“We the people” are not going to settle for more of the same in 2012.

Some people are thinking Cain.

The Iowa Republican Straw Poll is happening today on the campus of Iowa State University in Ames. The 32-year old event is also a fundraiser for the Iowa Republican Party.

The straw poll traditionally takes place in August in years without an incumbent Republican president running for re-election. Iowa residents over the age of 18 years old can vote for one of the nine Republican candidates on the straw poll ballot.

Six of the candidates will speak at the event including Michele Bachmann, Herman Cain, Thaddeus McCotter, Ron Paul, Tim Pawlenty, and Rick Santorum. Newt Gingrich, Jon Huntsman and Mitt Romney will also appear on the ballot but aren’t expected to make remarks.

Also today, Gov. Rick Perry (R-TX) is in South Carolina to speak at the RedState conservative blogger convention in Charleston. Gov. Perry is widely expected to declare his candidacy for the GOP presidential nomination. Also participating in the event are South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley and Sen. Jim DeMint.

C‑SPAN.org and the C‑SPAN networks continue to follow the candidates and campaigns as we enter the 2012 election season. You can join in the conversation on C‑SPAN’s Campaign 2012 Facebook page. Or follow us on twitter.

Obama , drives a nail in his own presidency.

The following videos , make it clear, Obama is going to spend every dollar of American wealth and debt that he can get his hands on . At the same time destroy the American dream for millions of Americans of every generation forwards and backwards.  In my view, it’s entirely possible that he will convince the unions, government workers, college and university marxist crowds , to send in their $5.00 . He will go thru the motions , accept the donations, steal them , go back to where ever he calls home, and laugh all the way to the bank.  Obama has managed the biggest hoax in world history.

Last night I watched the White House Press corp dinner.  The primary target at that dinner was Donald Trump.  Why is that?  My view is because Donald Trump poses the biggest threat to the obama white house going forward, forgetting that we have an election coming in 2012. The speed at which Mr. Trump is gaining recognition is amazing. The only candidate that even comes close to Trump is Herman Cain.  You know what I would do If I were Donald Trump. I would buy SNL,(Saturday Night Live) and send Meyers a pink slip.  As for the bit about Trump turning the White House into a Casino, duh!,  they did that many administrations ago.

Second: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kMERdJjsVyk,

Third: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2eOfYwYyS_c

This morning my email box was  packed with efforts from  dozens of Americans that have shown this recent document to be a fake.  In an effort to encourage Donald Trump to continue down this trail, I have forwarded every one of those email to him.

If we are going to turn this ship around , the same ole same ole crap aint gonna get it done.  So America stay focused , keep your eye on the ball, hang on to those campaign dollars that you normally send to parties and candidates, save the for down the road.  I’ve got an itch that says Mr. Trump will wind up running as an Independent.  The Republican party will do what they always do , listen to the same old BS that they’ve been trumpeting for decades. (cute huh)! . Donald Trump is about to make history , that will rattle the leaders of every nation around the world.  They will look at Trump like they did Reagan.  Remember the old E.F. Hutton ad, When E.F.Hutton speaks everyone listens.  We will have the same thing here with the Donald.  I’m thinking a Trump/Cain ticket.   What say you? Comments are welcome.
